TOP 5: FAVOURITE OLD-SCHOOL BRITNEY SONGS

Yay, another TOP 5!

To celebrate Britney Spears' return to the music scene with "Hold It Against Me", her first single off her upcoming album Femme Fatale, I have decided to make a "TOP 5" list of my favourite old-school Britney songs. So, here we go...

5) "You Drive Me (Crazy)": One of her first singles. At first I did not even lay my eyes (or ears?) on this song. But when I first heard it in its entirety on The Singles Collection, I loved it immediately!

4) "Oops!..I Did It Again": Who cares if it is a success just because it sounds like "...Baby One More Time"? It's a great song. Also, I love the fact that the song openly expresses a more sexually-provocative Spears through its accompanying music video.

3) "Toxic": Come on, which Britney fan does not love "Toxic"? Plus, I got a little excited when Glee covered the song Bob Fosse-style.

2) "Overprotected": "I'm so fed up of people telling me to be someone else but me." This song spoke to me personally - it tells me to not be afraid to be myself and not let anyone else define who I am. Take that, haters!

1) "Stronger": The song that started it all for me. It was because of this song that made me a permanent Britney fan. Plus, I've always wanted to recreate the MV's chair-dance sequence (which I know that is remotely impossible).
