TOP 5: REASONS WHY I LOVE ADAM YOUNG

If you were to ask me to name my favourite singer of today, I would be in a dizzying mess because there are so many artists whom I love and look up to. Britney Spears for her addictive music and dancing skills, Michael Bublé for his incredible voice and classily-humourous demeanor, Lady Gaga for her uniqueness in her style and music, Beyoncé for her "fierce-ness"... The list can goes on for days. But if I REALLY have to single out one person whom I love all-round, it has to be Adam Young, the man behind Owl City. And here are my TOP 5 reasons why.

SELENA GOMEZ & THE SCENE - "When the Sun Goes Down" (ALBUM REVIEW)

When Selena Gomez announced that she will be in a band, I thought it would some gimmick that she adopted in order to be different from her other Disney music peers Miley Cyrus and former-BFF (but still friends) Demi Lovato, and thus predicted that it will not do well. But with her 2009 debut album Kiss & Tell, released under her band name Selena Gomez & the Scene, I totally underestimated what I originally thought was a cheesy idea, thanks to a little electropop ditty (and eventual mega-hit) called "Naturally". The band followed up in 2010 with their sophomore effort A Year Without Rain, which, in my opinion, fared better than Kiss & Tell with hits such as "Round & Round". And with this year's When the Sun Goes Down, released a few days ago, I feel that the Scene is rocking at its best.

BRITNEY SPEARS - Femme Fatale (REVIEW)

I have been neglecting this blog AGAIN! And it sucks to not be kept up-to-date due to the busy-ness of school. Britney Spears' Femme Fatale!! YEAH!

TOP 5: "LET LOOSE" SONGS

It has been a while since I last blogged on this site, mostly because more recently, I have been updating on Twitter and Tumblr. I will try to blog more often and not slack off and neglect it as much as before.

Imagine that you had a real bad day at school or work, and you need to find something to let loose to. You know what I'm talking about: letting yourself go, releasing your "animal" instincts and, basically, exuding your inner diva and loosening your body to release the stress. I tend to find myself letting go most easily with music. Whether it's a hard beat or an addictive melody, here are my TOP 5 "let loose" songs.

5. "On the Floor" - Jennifer Lopez feat. Pitbull

4. "Diablo" - Simon Curtis

3. "Till the World Ends" - Britney Spears

2. "Take It Off" - Ke$ha

1. "Déjà Vu" - Beyoncé

"Hi! You're the type we're looking for..."

So the other day I was walking to a shopping mall after school when I hear a voice on my left side.

"Hi," he said, "My name is John and I am from XXXXX modeling agency and we're looking for models, and I think you're the type we're looking for..."

RECAP: "AMERICAN IDOL" - EPISODE 3 (MILWAUKEE AUDITIONS)

In this episode, the auditions go to Milwaukee, Wisconsin for the first time.

Walt Disney's PRINCESS... KE$HA??

Ke$ha is undeniably one of the hottest pop performers today. If she were to be offered a lead role in a Disney princess movie, would it turn out like this (thanks to the guys at FunnyOrDie.com)?

I mean, a movie soundtrack'd by Ke$ha? I'm up for it anytime! ;)

RECAP: "AMERICAN IDOL" - EPISODE 1 (NEW JERSEY AUDITIONS)

Tonight was the premiere episode of Season 10 of American Idol, where we're seeing a few changes that will change the game after 9 seasons: one, replacing Simon Cowell, Kara DioGuardi and Ellen DeGeneres are Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler and multi-hyphenate Jennifer Lopez as judges, with Randy Jackson taking the helm as senior judge; and two, the age limit has changed: the lower age limit has dropped to 15 (from 16 in the past seasons), while the upper age limit stays the same at 28. I blame you, Justin Bieber.

DOES IT HURT TO BE NICE?

Last week, a teacher asked for someone to bring over a pair of speakers from the other room, since the ones in the room we were in were not working. Not wanting to get off their butts and walk, everyone yelled out my name, and I was the one who went. A few moments later, the teacher asked for someone to help her with the connections, and everyone yelled my name again. I did help, and got the speakers working successfully.

TOP 5: SONGS THAT I LIKE, BUT DON'T DARE TO TELL ANYONE THAT I LIKE THEM

Most of the time, I'm really open about the songs that I'm obsessed over at the time. However, there are some songs that I like and somehow feel that I should not tell anyone that I like them.
